COVID-19 Client Information

We are open at Bulimba Vet this week, and we are remaining responsive to the situation as things change re Coronavirus (COVID-19). Our priority is to remain available to care for all your precious pets, as we all navigate these unprecedented times.

Please rest assured that we are being especially vigilant with our already thorough cleaning practices in-clinic. As Vets and Vet Nurses, we already need to deal with the control of contagious diseases on a regular basis so we are readily able to incorporate any new protocols as they come to light re COVID-19. Anti-viral agents are always in-use in our clinic, and these are now being used with increased frequency as is now appropriate.

We are keen to help our local community continue to care for their pets. Please help us by

  • Ringing ahead if you are unwell yourself – we may be able to arrange a pick-up/drop-off service for your pet to limit the times you need to leave your house
  • Ringing or emailing us if you need prescriptions filled – we can have them ready for collection
  • Making use of our Betterpets Housecall service, but please respect the wellness of our team and practise social distancing as appropriate
  • Using betterpets.com.au to have all your supplies delivered to your house

For the Seniors in our community we would like to offer a drop-off service if you need  2 – 4 weeks of pet food or flea/tick/worming medication delivered.

Most of our team live locally, and are very invested in keeping our community well, especially if we all face periods of home-isolation. The company of our dogs and cats could never be more important and therapeutic than at this time, when our whole community seems to have been tipped upside down.
